Work Experiences/Internships
Ø Seoul-Tufts Dental office (6/16~7/9, 2009)
l I worked in my dad’s Dental office 4 times a week for about 5 hours a day for a little less than a month. I watched the works of a dentist and did chores given by my dad.
l I worked on a dental research paper on RULA experiments. I had to take pictures and analyze them and apply it to the study.
Ø Tutoring an underclassman in Math (geometry).
l I was nominated in my AP Calculus BC class to tutor a student who was having trouble in the geometry class.
Ø Belmont Day School Summer Work
l I worked at a summer camp in Belmont, MA.
l I had to supervise the children who went to Belmont Day School for summer camp for three weeks.
Ø Teacher Assistant for Ms. Youn (High school office manager)
l I was chose to be one of the TAs to work in the high school office during school.
Community Service
Ø Focus Education
l I helped with an Academic Institute in Boston with office works such as organizing, cleaning, stapling, hole-punching, etc... (50 hours)
Ø World Changers (2008)
l A week long summer event where people gather together from around the world to help those people in need with things such as repairing houses, painting rooms, and cleaning up places.
Ø Community Service Club (11th)
l I was part of the School’s Community Service club.
Ø Dental Mission Trip to Gagudo island (7/10~7/14, 2009)
l A group of dentists, dental specialists, students in dental schools, and I, who was the only high school student, went to a small, distant island off of South Korea’s Southwestern shore to treat the people on the islands with free treatment, hoping to eventually share about the Gospel.
l I helped with registering people in, carrying heavy loads, assisting the dentists in any way possible such as holding the flashlight for them when they treat a patient. I also went around each house with a partner to talk about Christianity.
Ø Charles River Cleaning (2008)
l In Boston, I attended an event called Charles River Cleaning where the volunteers walk along the Charles River and pick up all the trash that they see.
Ø Walk For Hunger (2007)
l In Boston, I attended the Walk for Hunger event where you pledge a certain amount of money per mile to give to those in need and walk that distance along the Charles River. I walked 10 miles.

l Varsity since freshman year.

l Mostly played the offensive line man and defensive back

l Played midi the first year then switched to defense.

n An annual event where the State of MA selects very few numbers of musicians and forms a youth symphony to perform after 3 days of rehearsal.
l KAIAC (Korea American Interscholastic Activities Conference) (11th)
n Played in select full orchestra (2009) as I was chosen to represent my school as a cellist.
l Tutoring for cello in School (9th, 10th)
n I got the chance to help my fellow School Orchestra players in learning how to play some parts of the pieces and tips on how to make better quality on sounds in the afternoons after school.

l I played the drums since I was in 7th grade.
l I played for a large Korean Church Association called Arise in Boston.
l I was part of the worship leaders in Korean Hope Church of Boston (2005~2008)
l I lead worship in School’s Chapel held every Tuesday (11th, 12th)

l Drummer for School Praise Band, Onnuri Church praise band, the ARISE Event Praise Band, and the Korean Hope Church of Boston Praise band.
l played for the school’s praise night throughout the years.

l “The Legacy of the Leader”- Speaker Mr. David Horne
l Selected students from four different international schools in Asia gathered to have a conference of possible future leaders.
